Sunday Packet Pickup
If you cannot get to the Reston store of Potomac River Running on Friday or the fairgrounds on Saturday, you may pick up your bib number on Sunday, April 20th, from 7:00 - 8:15 A.M. at the fairgrounds in Sykes Hall. Be prepared for long lines! We will not delay the 8:30 A.M. start of the ½ marathon in order to accommodate individuals showing up late to pick up their bib numbers. ______________________________________________________________

Reston, VA 20190 Incomplete or illegible forms or forms without correct entry fees will be returned. Entry Deadline: Entries must be received by 5 PM April 12, 2008 too qualify for the $25 entry fee for the 5K and $40 entry fee for the Half-Marathon. Late fees are $30 (5K) & $45 (Half) until April 19, 2008. No change in Kid’s Fun Run entry fee.

All runners will receive a Technical race shirt this year.
Wind-Shirt Upgrade:
All wind-shirt upgrade orders must be handled through online registration and ordered by Midnight on 03/15/08. No wind-shirts will be sold on race day.

Parking: Plenty of parking will be available at the Loudoun County (4H) Fairgrounds.

Half-Marathon Awards:
The top three overall male and female finishers will receive cash awards:
$200 1st Place
$100 2nd Place
and $75 3rd Place
The top two males in the following age groups will receive gift certificates from Potomac River Running:
19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & Over.
The top two females in the following age groups will receive gift certificates from Potomac River Running:
19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & Over.
There will be no duplication of awards.
Awards ceremony will be held shortly after the last runner of that event finishes. The first 100 half-marathon finishers will receive a Top 100 Finish medal.
5K Awards: The top three overall male and female finishers will receive gift certificates from Potomac River Running.

Random Prizes: An assortment of random prizes will be drawn before and after each award ceremony, so stick around and you might win something.
You must be present to win. Times: Split times will be called out at regular intervals for the 5K and Half Marathon.
Half-Marathon Time Limit: Participants of the Half-Marathon will have 3 hours and
30 minutes. (16 min. miles) to complete the Half-Marathon.
Water Stops: There will be one (1) water stop on the course for the 5K, at the halfway
point. The Half-Marathon will have three (3) water stops, the 5K water stop, between miles 3 & 10, and between miles 6 & 7 approximately.

When you call to make your reservation, use one of the following confirmation numbers for the LAWS race rate – Conf # 200929 through 200933. Rooms will expire at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 18th, 2008, so make your reservation early! No shuttle service from Dulles International Airport.

From Leesburg, VA (West):
- Take Route 7 West (Harry Byrd Hwy) towards Hamilton, VA.
- Take Route 9 West Exit (stay in left lane of exit). At STOP sign at end of the exit turn left and proceed over the bridge that crosses Route 7 (stay in the left lane).
- Proceed to STOP sign and turn left onto Dry Mill Rd.
Travel approximately 1 mile to Fairgrounds entrance on left.
From Purcellville, VA (East):
- Take Route 7 East (Harry Byrd Hwy) towards Leesburg, VA.
- Take Route 9 Exit. At STOP sign at end of exit turn right and immediately get into the left lane.
- Proceed to STOP sign and turn left onto Dry Mill Rd.
Travel approximately 1 mile to Fairgrounds entrance on left.
